The Environmental Protection Department has released pollution prevention and control technology policy guidelines for three industries, including the "Pollution Prevention and Control Technology Policy for Beverage and Alcohol Manufacturing Industry," "Pollution Prevention and Control Technology Policy for Ship Water Pollution," and "Feasible Technology Guidelines for Pollution Prevention and Control in Pulp and Paper Industry," to accelerate the construction of environmental technology management systems, promote the advancement of pollution prevention and control technologies, and improve environmental quality.
The "Pollution Prevention and Control Technology Policy for Beverage and Alcohol Manufacturing Industry" provides technical guidance for formulating environmental protection-related industrial policies, environmental management, and corporate pollution prevention and control work in the beverage and alcohol manufacturing industry. The policy requires that pollution prevention and control in the beverage and alcohol manufacturing industry should follow the principles of reduction, resource utilization, and harmless treatment, adopt a comprehensive pollution prevention and control technology route covering source control, emission reduction during production processes, waste resource utilization, and end-of-pipe treatment, and strengthen process cleanliness and resource recycling. The policy provides technical regulations for source and production process pollution prevention and control in the beverage and alcohol manufacturing industry.
The "Pollution Prevention and Control Technology Policy for Ship Water Pollution" clearly states that ship water pollution prevention and control should follow the comprehensive prevention and control principles of prevention priority, classified management, ship-shore coordination with shore-based treatment as the main approach, and strengthened supervision. The technology policy mainly includes pollution prevention and control technologies and encouraged new technology research and development for processes such as source prevention of water pollutants generated during ship operations, onboard treatment and reuse, onboard collection and transfer, and shore-based treatment and reuse, providing technical guidance for preventing ship water pollution and related environmental management.
The "Feasible Technology Guidelines for Pollution Prevention and Control in Pulp and Paper Industry" stipulates feasible technologies for preventing and controlling industrial exhaust gas, wastewater, solid waste, and noise pollution in the pulp and paper industry, including pollution prevention technologies, pollution treatment technologies, and feasible technologies for pollution prevention and control. With the implementation of these technical guidelines, the "Announcement on the Release of Three Guiding Technical Documents Including the 'Feasible Technology Guidelines for Pollution Prevention and Control in Wood Pulping Processes in the Papermaking Industry'" is simultaneously repealed.
